Located on the plateau stretching between the Brenta Group and the Paganella massif, and easily reachable at just 19 km from the Brenner motorway, Andalo is a tourist resort popular with visitors both in winter and summer. Known for its action-packed outdoor adventure activities and family-friendly facilities, Andalo is an ideal destination for families with children of all ages. It’s also an excellent choice for groups of mixed ability skiers or groups including non-skiers.
The large Andalo sports & congress centre, covering an area of more 100,000 mq, is considered a paradise for families and an oasis of well-being: tennis courts, football pitch, two indoor swimming pools with waterworks, ice skating rink, the ‘AquaIn’ wellness centre, as well as outdoor rock climbing walls, minigolf and boules courts.
Offering 25 ultramodern ski lifts and more than 50 km of renovated and wide slopes for downhill skiing, the Paganella Fun Ski Area is a haven for skiers and snowboarders. Tracks are always in shipshape condition, with snow guaranteed on 98% of the entire ski area. Skiers can reach up to the 2125 metres a.s.l. of the Cima Paganella peak, with a stunning view over the Brenta Dolomites and the Adige Valley. If it’s cross country skiing you’re after, you can find two circuits here: a 3 km ring lighted up at night running around a small lake, and a longer 5 km ring through the surrounding woods.
If you prefer an adventure on two wheels, during the summer the Dolomiti Paganella Bike Area offers a 400 km network of marked mountain bike trails and singletrails for riders of all abilities and levels. Classic itineraries for families, but also 2 dedicated bike park areas for downhill and freeride, 2 pump tracks and 2 skills areas.
